Todd Tolces
As a young lad, I delighted in mimicking my favorite cartoon characters… and their accompanying sound effects… much to my parent’s horror. Convinced I’d grow out of my “cartoon phase” when I reached puberty and my voice changed, mom and dad received another shock. Not only did their son continue to multiply his cartoon voices… but also he expanded his repertoire of character voices with his almost unlimited range.
I actually began my career as a rock critic in San Francisco during the screwball 70’s, writing for England’s prestigious Melody Maker newspaper as their SF Bureau Chief. At the same time, I continued to work on the air at radio stations in San Francisco, Marin County, Lake Tahoe, and eventually Portland, Oregon, where I reside today.
